Rebecca and Bret – Cornman Farms Fall Wedding

Fall is such a beautiful time in Michigan.  It’s also one of my busiest times!  The beautiful fall colors, the not too hot and {hopefully} not too cold temperatures, the gorgeous warm evening light.  It really is my favorite time of year.  It’s also a pretty fabulous time of year to get married.  Or, have family photos, or senior photos, or really any photos taken.  So, if you are my friend, or are friends with any photographers – you may not see us much in the fall because chances are good that they are shooting or editing!  I’m just finally getting to blog my fall sessions, and I’m so excited to share all of the gorgeous faces I was able to capture!

Rebecca and Bret are two of the kindest people I have ever met.  Rebecca is the cousin of one of my very good friends, and I remember when she first started dating Bret.  We were in a book club (of sorts) together.  It was more of a get together and eat yummy food kind of book club – which I think is the best kind.  I was so excited when I heard that Bret had popped the question, and we met to discuss wedding plans!

Rebecca and Bret were married at Zingermans Cornman Farms which was one of the most beautiful venues I’ve had the pleasure of shooting at.  The farm house and kitchen are open, and you can sit and watch their amazing chefs prepare fresh farm-to-table meals.  Their barn was the perfect setting for their fall decor.  Rebecca has worked as a pastry chef, and she planned every detail of the wedding.  She put so much thought an consideration into each decision, their guests were treated to a fabulous day.    It was truly magical.  From the pumpkins, to the beautiful flowers, the fun lawn games and the Zingerman’s wedding pie – it was warm, welcoming, and fun throughout.

Rebecca’s wardrobe details were so beautiful.  The dress, her cowboy boots, and her gorgeous handmade broach bouquet {flown in from overseas} were stunning.  Each item was meticulously planned and perfectly executed.   It was also the best food I’ve ever eaten at a wedding  {as a guest or a vendor}  and I happen to visit a lot of wedding venues in this job!!  The best part of the day was how happy Rebecca and Bret were.   They truly seemed happy to be married, and enjoying their day together.  I wish them all of the happiness in the world, and a long happy life together!!  Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-1Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-2Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-3Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-5Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-6Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-7Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-8Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-9Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-10Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-11Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-12Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-13Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-14Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-15Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-16Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-17Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-18Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-19Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-20Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-21Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-22Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-23Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-24Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-25Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-26Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-27Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-28Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-29Rebecca and Brett Cornman Farms Fall Wedding-32
